The video announcement

Watch it arrive.

The suite’s video, as it arrives in the family chat — a sample photo and sample words throughout. In the one you send, your family’s photo and words take their place.

She arrived weeks ago. Today, she comes home.

This is not a birth announcement — your baby's arrival was the beginning of a longer story, and the people who love you have been holding their breath through all of it. This suite walks the whole road with you: a calm card for the small updates along the way, an announcement for the day the car seat finally goes in the car, and a thank-you for the nurses, doctors, and therapists who cared for your baby — and for you.

Send each piece when you're ready. Some weeks there is news. Some weeks there is only resting, and that is a complete update too.

In your family's words

Every line is yours to keep, change, or replace. Some families love the words "miracle baby"; many NICU families do too — and some do not. The guide offers that phrase as a labeled option you may choose, never as a default we chose for you. If one of your babies came home and one did not, the guide shows how these cards can hold both — grief and joy are allowed in the same room, and in the same announcement.

The details sheet

Write it once. Check it here. Never from memory.

Every name and date goes on this sheet first, in letter boxes, with the weekday checked against the date — before a single card is built. Precision is a form of love, so we made it part of the suite.

Questions, answered plainly

How is this different from a birth announcement?

It was written for a different day. A birth announcement says a baby arrived. This suite says a baby came home — and honors the weeks between, and the people who got her there.

Do I have to send updates during the hospital stay?

No. The update card exists for the weeks you want it. Plenty of families send only the coming-home announcement, and that is a complete way to use this suite.

What if plans change — a setback, or a longer stay?

The guide has a short section for exactly that: what to send, what to leave unsent, and how the cards adapt. Nothing here has a deadline, and your files never expire.

Can the thank-you card be printed for the NICU team?

Yes — every card includes a print-ready 5×7 file. Many families leave one at the nurses' station on graduation day.

We have twins, and only one is home so far. Does this work?

Yes. The announcement holds one baby's homecoming without pretending the other isn't still in care — and the guide shows wording for "one home, one still growing strong" that families use often.
