The suite’s video, as it arrives in the family chat — a sample photo and sample words throughout. In the one you send, your family’s photo and words take their place.
A new year, greeted honestly — and the old one, told truly.
This pack holds the turn of the year in both directions: the greeting that opens the new year, and the letter that closes the old one. Plus the gathering invitation for New Year's Eve or New Year's Day, a far-away card for the midnight that arrives in every time zone at a different hour, the thank-you after, and a keepsake of the year's first photo.
The letter is the heart — and it is gentle by law. The annual letter is a beloved tradition and a quiet trap: it can read like a highlight reel nobody's year actually was. Not here. The letter card in this pack is built from prompts that make room for a real year — a person who showed up, something small worth keeping, something hard said plainly, something being set down. Use one prompt or all of them. Write three honest lines instead of three pages. A family whose year held a diagnosis, a divorce, a death, or just a long gray stretch can write a letter that honors it without dressing it up — the guide shows how, in plain words: no achievements are required to have had a year worth marking.
Different letters for different people is a kindness, not a performance. Your card list is a relationship document. The close version of the letter and the light version can both be true. The guide shows how to keep two versions in the same design, and why nobody is owed the whole story.
Midnight happens everywhere, one hour at a time. The far-away card is built for the rolling midnight: your family toasts with each time zone's people at their midnight, or gathers everyone for one of them — the card writes the hour in both zones and makes the far-away people expected guests at the year's first moment, not a phone passed around after.
Every family shape, at the same table. One parent or two, grandparents, blended and chosen families, a household of friends, a brand-new household in a brand-new shape this year — the family line is a field, and the letter's prompts never ask who anyone is supposed to be by now.
The edit guide also holds one quiet option: a remembrance element for the one who isn't here to see this new year — the turn of the year is when an absence is counted. Present in the keepsake or the letter only in your family's own words, offered there only, never printed by default.

The details sheet
Write it once. Check it here. Never from memory.
Every name and date goes on this sheet first, in letter boxes, with the weekday checked against the date — before a single card is built. Precision is a form of love, so we made it part of the suite.
Questions, answered plainly
Our year was hard. Is there a letter in this pack for us?
Yes — the pack was built with your year in mind. The letter's prompts make room for a hard year said plainly: what was carried, who showed up, what is being set down. There is no achievements section, no highlight reel, and a three-line letter is a complete letter. The guide walks through it gently.
Does the letter have to go to everyone?
No. The guide shows the two-version method — a fuller letter for the close circle, a shorter greeting for everyone else — both true, both in the same design. Your card list is a relationship document; nobody is owed the whole story.
Can the letter skip the year-in-review entirely?
Yes. Some years, the greeting is the whole message: the photo, the greeting, the new year. The letter card is there when a family wants it and deletes cleanly when they don't.
How does the far-away card handle midnight in different places?
It writes both midnights down — yours and theirs — and your family chooses: toast at each one, with each group, or pick one midnight and gather everyone for it. Either way, the far-away people are expected, by name and by hour.
Why is this pack priced above the other holiday packs?
Because it carries two flagship pieces — the full greeting suite and the year-in-review letter — where the others carry one. One price, one time, the whole turn of the year.
Is anything mailed to me?
