The video announcement

Watch it arrive.

The suite’s video, as it arrives in the family chat — a sample photo and sample words throughout. In the one you send, your family’s photo and words take their place.

When you're ready, the words are ready.

One suite for the whole hello: the shower invitation months before, the birth announcement whenever the moment is right — an hour later, a day later, a week later — and the thank-you when the meal train has run its course. The announcement card takes one photo, a name, and the numbers everyone asks for — date, time, weight, length — and turns them into the text that gets forwarded to every branch of the family tree.

If your arrival was quieter than planned — a NICU stay, a hard birth, feelings that don't match the confetti — the suite includes a plain announcement variant: name, date, "we're resting, and we'll share more when we're ready." Joy is offered here, never required.

What you receive

A name for every family

Wording variants in the guide cover single parents, two moms, two dads, surrogacy and donor-conception welcomes (one opt-in set that neither implies biology nor hides your story), and adoption arrivals. For adoption day, the guide offers "the day we became a family" and "Family Day" first; "gotcha day" is there too, labeled honestly — some adoptees dislike the term, because the day can hold a first family's loss alongside your joy. The words are your family's to choose; all of them are designed with the same care.

For families who have loved and lost before: an opt-in line acknowledges a sibling held in your hearts ("little brother to ___, who we hold in our hearts"). Offered, never a default — and the announcement never presents this baby as a replacement for the one you lost. They are different children, and this suite knows it.

The details sheet

Write it once. Check it here. Never from memory.

Every name and date goes on this sheet first, in letter boxes, with the weekday checked against the date — before a single card is built. Precision is a form of love, so we made it part of the suite.

Questions, answered plainly

Can I prepare the announcement before the baby arrives?

Yes — if it brings you peace. Fill in everything but the stats ahead of time; on the day, the numbers and a photo are all that's left, and it can wait as long as you need.

What if our family doesn't fit the sample wording?

The guide includes wording variants for many family shapes — and every word is editable regardless.

Can I print the announcement for keepsakes?

Yes, a print-ready 5×7 export is included for every card.
